Blushing over sin is fast becoming a rare occurrence these days. Andrew for your lesson on blushing. I believe that when we stop blushing, we have gone too far in sin and our concience have been seared. I praise God he convicts me when I do or say something wrong. I praise him for his being there all the time and knowing my need before I realize I need it. I love the Lord and pray his Will be done in my life always. Please continue to pray for my family, as we all stand in need of prayer.

Re: Living In A Glass House!

So true... and thank you for your prayers. God's people, oftentimes, are guilty of shooting our own wounded. I am going to write a post in coming days on how we should not condone sin, but comfort those who have sinned. Anyway, we live in a glass house and that is it! Thanks, Bro. Schank

Re: Living In A Glass House!

This message is so true and needed for every congregation. People are too hard on judging pastor's children. I always look at them as normal children and ask God to help that pastor in training them. My heart is for the children. We tend to expect too much of them. They are Children just like everyone else's. Just pray more for the pastor and family. I pray for your wife with the precious energetic boys. I had 3. God bless your writtings.

Re: Series: How To Study You Bible Pt. 1

Thanks for your encouraging comments. The best advice I give myself is that of just trying to let the Word of God teach, and lead me! You can never go wrong with Scripture taken in context! I myself have a tendancy to pull to the ditch of truth. Thank God for the word of God that can keep us "Aligned" so we can stay in the middle of the road!!

Re: Where Are You Dwelling?

I whole heartily agree! We need to have a prayer life that has LIFE!! The Effectual Fervent prayer. Effectual meaning to have adequate power or force, I want my prayer life to be powerful! Then Fervent, means hot or boiling, Vehement!!!! I want a prayer life the is "on fire"!!
Thanks for the update, God help us all to dwell in that "Secret place"!!

Re: Abraham: The Intercessor

You are exactly right. Sin is always heart wrenching! It reminds me of a thought from line of a song I used to sing... "Sin with take you farther than you want to go, it will leave you longer than you want to stay, and it will cost you far more than you want to pay." Thanks for your reply. Check back with us later on and share more of your thoughts!

Re: Guarding Our Prayer Time!

Thanks for commenting. Yes, we need to be careful to begin our day on our face before God. It is so important to guard this time each day! I pray over my food before I eat it and when things come to mind during the day, I stop to pray. But I need to do as the scripture says. I think the best place for me would actually be in my closet. I want to start this today. I should do this before I start my day in the morning. Thank you Andrew for this.

Re: Abraham: The Intercessor

I really enjoy reading your articles, Andrew.
This story of Lot and Abraham has always been heart-wrenching for me. I think the story also shows how one person's sin (or a whole town of sin) can truly break the heart of other people and bring them to sin too.
A cycle......
